About Coaching:

Coaching is “Partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.” (International Coaching Federation)
It involves creating a safe space, listening actively, and asking thought-provoking questions in service to deeper self-awareness, creativity and realization of the client’s most important visions and goals. Many of the benefits of coach partnering also come through the reflective work in between the coaching sessions.   Some of the tools that I use to support the coach process include discovering your core values and life purpose as well as your signature strengths using the Gallup StrengthsFinder.
Unlike Counseling or therapy, which also includes a focus on the past, coaching focuses on the present and the future.   Coaching is based on the fundamental belief that clients are creative, resourceful, and whole. Coaching helps a client see clearly where they are today and create and progress toward goals for their future.

How it Works

  • I offer and recommend an initial complimentary sample session to answer questions, assess chemistry, and provide a short sample of the coaching experience.


  • Sessions are conducted via phone or Zoom. 


  • A typical coaching engagement  is 45 minutes in length although 30 and 60 minute sessions are also options.  The first session is the “Discovery” session focused on clarifying coaching goals, discovering values, and sharing vital background information and is longer than subsequent sessions.


  • Meeting frequency depends on your goals and needs.  Sessions are typically scheduled for two times a month for 3-12 months.


  • Fees vary depending on whether you prefer to purchase session by session or a package of sessions.   This is discussed at the initial complimentary session.
